Composite Paddles Back

A. Black Lite Straight
The straight-shaft version of our popular Black Lite Paddle. This light, stiff graphite paddle is ideal for beginning racers and for recreational paddling. Lighter than top-of-the-line wood paddles and also more durable. All graphie construction.

  • 85/8" blade. Weight:* 15 oz. Lengths: 50," 51," 52," 53," 54". $169.95

    B. Black Lite Bent
Ideal graphite elbow for new racers and recreational use. At 15 oz. it's 5 to 10 oz. less than top notch wood paddles. More durable, too. It'll boost your efficiency and stamina. All graphite construction.

  • 85/8" blade. Weight:* 15 oz. Lengths: 50," 51," 52," 53," 54". $169.95

    C. Black Jack
Ultra-light elbow for the dedicated racer. A higher graphite content makes it exceptionally light and stiff, with a better swing weight, to make your stroke recovery almost effortless.

  • 85/8" blade. Weight:* 11 oz. Lengths: 50," 51," 52," 53," 54". $225.00

    D. Plastic Livery Paddle
This low-cost, no-frills paddle is indestructible. A long-time favorite of canoe liveries, it's also great for boyscout troops, camps, or anywhere that a paddle is likely to be subjected to rough handling. Aluminum shaft with plastic blade and hand grip.

  • 73/4" blade. Weight:* 27 oz. Lengths: 51," 54," 57." $19.95

*Weights are based on a 52" paddle.

    About Bent-Shaft Paddles
If you haven't used an elbow paddle, we urge you to try one. Most people prefer it. The blade is angled forward from the shaft so the more-effective front part of the stroke lasts longer. It also prevents lifting water at stroke's end. Elbow paddles deliver more of your effort to the water.
